Dust if you must -A deeper meaning

Dust If You Must
by Rose Milligan

Dust if you must, but wouldn’t it be better
To paint a picture, or write a letter,
Bake a cake, or plant a seed;
Ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust if you must, but there’s not much time,
With rivers to swim, and mountains to climb;
Music to hear, and books to read;
Friends to cherish, and life to lead.

Dust if you must, but the world’s out there
With the sun in your eyes, and the wind in your hair;
A flutter of snow, a shower of rain,
This day will not come around again.

Dust if you must, but bear in mind,
Old age will come and it’s not kind.
And when you go (and go you must)
You, yourself, will make more dust.

Only when you see every trivial routine chores as dusting, you will be able to see an abundant pile of goals to achieve and miles to cover. So lets move to them what is really worthwhile and important. Cheers!!

Ye kagaj ke panne

Nasamajh hain wo jo kehte hain
Ki kagaj ke pannon ko to hawa bhi uda le jati hai
Sayad wo kabhi uspe likhe shabdon ko dekh na sake
Unki takat pehchan na paye…
Ye panne na jane kitni khushion, kitne gamon
Aur kitni parchaiyon ko chhupae baithe haine
khubsoorat pal jo inn pannon mein simat kr gye
jate jate inn pennon ko hi khubsoorat bana gye
kitni duayen kitni chahtein dafan h inme
kabhi hairan kr jati h mujhe
hum insaanon se adhik jindadili to ye panne sahej jate hain.
